Leicester City Predicted Lineup vs Liverpool in the Carabao Cup
How Leicester City Have Lined-up Recently
Manager Enzo Maresca once again shuffled his pack for the home victory against Bristol City. The East Midlands team claimed three points after securing a dominant 1-0 victory.
With the strenuous Championship schedule, the Italian manager has used the strength and quality of his squad to rotate effectively and allow key players to have much-needed rest and recuperation. The dilemma for this cup fixture will be whether a full-strength team should be played or whether the focus should remain primarily on league fixtures.

The two cup fixtures played this season have seen significant rotation. This may have been promoted by the fact that the opposition have been from the lower leagues. This fixture pits them against Premiership and European giants Liverpool, and Leicester will be keen to test their progress this season against proven opponents.
Leicester City Recent Form and Tactics
The Foxes have won five of their last six games, scoring nine goals whilst conceding two. During this time, they have only suffered one defeat. They currently sit atop the English second division.
The Italian manager will demand the same style of play despite the elevated level of opposition. The fluency and fluidity of play have developed over the past few weeks and fans will want to continue to see this improve as the season continues.

Liverpool are in great form, winning all of their last six games. They currently sit in second place in the Premiership, only two points behind Manchester City. With European commitments and priority likely to be targeted towards their league schedule, it is likely that manager Jurgen Klopp will field a team without many of their first-team regulars.
Leicester will have a point to prove, having suffered a pre-season defeat to Liverpool 4-0 whilst on their South East Asia tour.
Leicester City Injuries to Consider
Defender Callum Doyle picked up an injury and came off at halftime during the win against Bristol City. He is expected to be out of contention for an extended period of time. Midfielder Dennis Praet is still unable to be considered for selection with a back injury.
Summer signing Tom Cannon also has a back injury with no idea of a timeframe for his return. Summer signing Conor Coady has not featured since picking up an injury during preseason but has been named as a substitute for the last three games. Maresca has suggested he will feature soon.
