The Blues Were in Talks With Midfield Duo
Romano reported that the Londoners were in contact with two highly regarded midfielders during the recently culminated transfer window. However, they eventually decided to go for younger options, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia. The reliable journalist wrote: “Chelsea decided to go for a different kind of midfielder, both in terms of skills and in terms of age – they preferred to go for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, while they also had Enzo Fernandez.”
Former PSG star, Marco Verratti “was a possibility” for the Stamford Bridge side according to the Italian journalist. The veteran midfielder was offered to the Premier League team.
