The Catalan giants appear to have plans to keep the youngsters in their team for years to come, and Romano has stated that both Yamal and Balde have already signed their new contracts with the club.

Romano also mentions that they signed the deals during the pre-season tour of the USA in July and that it is now a “matter of time” before the extensions are officially confirmed. The journalist further states that Yamal has signed a new three-year contract until 2026.
Romano further claims that Balde has agreed a new five-year contract with the club after becoming their regular left-back following the departure of Jordi Alba in the summer. Manchester City reportedly tried hard to sign Yamal before he agreed on a new deal with Barcelona.
