United’s Right-Wing Woes
Due to unfortunate developments, the Premier League giants are suffering a crisis in the right-wing position with all of their first-team players in that position ruled out or facing different issues.

Jadon Sancho is in a difficult situation with the club as he had a falling out with Erik ten Hag. The former Borussia Dortmund man released a social media post against the manager’s claims that the player’s exclusion from the team was based on training performance.
Antony is also facing some off-the-field issues keeping him out of action for the near future. The young sensation, Amad Diallo, is nursing a knee injury that he suffered during pre-season.
Facundo Pellistri Close to Signing Contract Extension with Red Devils
Romano revealed on his social media that United’s talented right-winger, Facundo Pellistri, is set to sign a new long-term deal with the club. The talks are set to continue after the first round of negotiations took place in April.
The 21-year-old’s current deal expires in the summer of 2025 and the club’s hierarchy want to tie down the “exceptional” player for an extended period by offering him a new deal now.

The Premier League club consider the Uruguayan’s extension one of the priorities according to the Italian journalist. The absence of all other first-team right-wingers presents a golden opportunity for the youngster to make his mark.
