Tottenham’s Deadline Day Activity Depends on Sales

L’equipe revealed that the Ligue 1 side made a bid of around £10.3 million for Tottenham’s “former club record signing“. It is thought that these sales need to take place in order to make room for further additions.

It was reported early on this deadline day by Tom Collomosse that Nottingham Forest were keen on a move for Sanchez but the player was not convinced about leaving the club.

According to Michael Bridge, Tottenham offered Bournemouth the chance to sign Eric Dier whilst discussions are taking place over bringing Cherries Defender Lloyd Kelly to North London.

However, the player would rather move abroad than stay in England when he moves on from the club. Moving on the likes of Dier and Sanchez is critical for Tottenham’s chances of recruiting further on deadline day.

The failure to sell these players could have a knock-on effect for the purchase of Lloyd Kelly who they have had a £20 million offer rejected in the last few hours.
