Johnson On His Way for Medical Tests
Spurs and Forest have reached an agreement for the transfer of Johnson just hours away from the transfer deadline. The North London club have been pursuing the player for a matter of weeks now and have wrapped up the signing according to Romano. The player is on his way to their training ground in order to complete his medical tests before signing the documents to seal the deal.
According to David Ornstein, The Lillywhites will pay a transfer fee of £47.5 million fixed to their fellow Premier League side. There are no add-ons in the agreement. However, Forest retains a 10% sell-on clause for the Welsh forward. The “brilliant” youngster will play at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season barring a disaster.

In terms of outgoings, the Premier League club find themselves in a tricky situation towards the very end of the transfer window. They need to offload at least three foreign players to meet the regulations of the league pertaining to squad composition. They are currently over the limit of overseas players allowed in the 25-man squad. Some international players who are out of favour could be on the chopping block.
