Chalobah Will Stay Back at the Bridge
Chalobah had received several offers over the summer transfer window, some of which came very close to fruition but, unfortunately, fell through.
The same scenario unfolded once again as the Bundesliga transfer window closed earlier than the Premier League’s, ultimately resulting in the youngster staying at Stamford Bridge as per The Athletic.

Thomas Tuchel, who had previously worked with the defender during his time at Chelsea, expressed interest in signing the player during this transfer window. The Englishman was keen on making the move to the Bavarian side, and in the end, it boiled down to a choice between the two clubs for the young player.

However, in the closing hours of the transfer window, as the German window closed earlier than the English one, the deal came close to collapsing, especially with Nottingham Forest entering the race and no agreement in place with the Blues.

Concurrently, Bayern were also managing another deal for Southampton’s Armel Bella, and ultimately, they were forced out of the negotiations as time ran out for all parties involved.
Nottingham Forest Joins the Race
While the Bavarians were highly confident about signing the Chelsea player, Nottingham Forest entered the fray with a bid of £25 million, aiming to secure the player.
However, since the player had solely contemplated a move to Bayern Munich, it has been confirmed that he will not be accepting the offer as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
