Forest Improve Midfield Depth
The Tricky Trees have managed to offload current midfielder Freuler on loan to Bologna to allow the Argentine to make his move to the City Ground. Dominguez joined the Italian side in 2019 as a relatively unknown entity and went on to make 104 appearances across four seasons.
The 25-year-old captained his club and was also a part of the Copa America-winning Argentina side in 2021.

The midfielder was a top target on the list of fellow Italian club AC Milan, as they looked to replace Rade Krunic, who looks set to leave before the end of the window. However, it has been reported by Romano, that the Bosnian will sign a new deal with the Italian giants.
This news opened the door for Steve Cooper’s side to pounce on the utility man Dominguez.

Busy Trees
It’s safe to say the Reds are using every hour of the transfer window wisely as just one day before deadline day we are still seeing plenty of incomings and outgoings. After missing out on Dean Henderson to Palace, Forest have turned their attention to Benfica number 1, Odisseas Vlachodimos.
It has also been reported Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is close to making the short trip to Nottingham with the deal “still on and concrete“.

Life has not been easy so far this campaign with Cooper’s side taking on both Arsenal and Manchester United however, there have been obvious signs of improvement. The Tricky Trees will be happy to see the back of September and are hoping next month will come with a few more points to match some impressive performances.
