After an impressive 4-0 win away to Werder Bremen in the opening Bundesliga fixture last time out, the German record champions are facing FC Augsburg in a Bavarian derby on Sunday. It would be naïve to think that all of the problems the team faced last season were suddenly resolved with the signing of Harry Kane and the winning start to this term. However, both of those things were certainly steps in the right direction. Though time alone will tell, whether the move of the English national team captain to Munich was worth his record Bundesliga transfer fee of over 100 million Euros. That is something that some in the German football media landscape have been skeptical about.
Despite the great fanfare with which the Tottenham Hotspur legend has been received in the Bavarian capital, the fee might still prove a heavy burden for him to carry. Coach Thomas Tuchel expressed his satisfaction about the team’s performance against Bremen and stressed that there was little need to change the lineup apart from replacing the injured Jamal Musiala, as he addressed the media Friday. This means that our Bayern Munich predicted lineup will reflect that and take Tuchel at his word.

How Bayern Munich Have Lined up Recently
The Bavarian 4-2-3-1 formation is unlikely to change here. The only possibility of altering it might be to add Ryan Gravenberch as an extra holding midfielder which would make them line up in a wide 4-3-3, though that seems rather unlikely.
Bayern Munich Injuries Affecting the Team
Raphaël Guerreiro and Manuel Neuer are still out injured, and the above-mentioned Jamal Musiala sadly joins them on that list. Replacing the latter will be the main concern for Tuchel.
