Gabriel Jesus Back in Training With Arsenal Squad
Romano’s update will make the Gunners fans jubilant. Their star striker was spotted training with the team, which is “excellent news for Arsenal” after he missed the start of the season due to knee discomfort. The Brazil international had to undergo a surgical procedure to rectify the issue. The Gunners manager Arteta had said in an interview early in August that the player would be out for a few weeks and expressed his disappointment as he was showing glimpses of being back to top form. The 26-year-old appears ahead of his recovery schedule and could return to action sooner than expected.

The former Manchester City man had issues with injuries last season as well. He suffered a knee injury while playing for Brazil in Qatar at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. As a result, the striker missed almost three months of club football action. It is not clear if he will be able to make the squad for the London derby against Fulham on August 26.
There are many claiming that mounting injuries should be addressed by FIFA as compact schedules are doing players harm.
Arsenal’s Other Injury Woes
The North London club suffered another setback at the beginning of the season when new signing Jurrien Timber went off with a knee injury during his official debut. Tests carried out revealed that the Dutchman had damaged his ACL.

It is a major disappointment for both the club and the player since the injury is set to keep the young defender out for the majority of the season. Mohamed Elneny and Albert Sambi Lokonga are also set to miss upcoming fixtures due to injury.
