West Ham have been pursuing Mohammed Kudus for much of this transfer window. All with little luck, though, as the Ghanaian winger and midfielder has not been secured despite multiple bids. Their fortunes might be about to change, however, as Fabrizio Romano has reported that a deal could soon be completed between the two sides.

According to Romano, West Ham’s improved bid for Kudus was between £38 and £39 million, with an additional sell-on clause. Both the Hammers and the Ghanaian player’s representatives feel that a deal is mostly completed. The final components of the transfer are all that is left for the English and Dutch outfits to negotiate.

The Hype around Kudus
At only 23 years old, Kudus has already impressed at both the club and international levels. Twice an Eredivisie champion, the winger has been described as “a multi-positional counter-attacker who is living the dream” When he scores, which is quite often, he inspires future generations to pursue their own dreams.

Described as having a “dynamic” play style, the former Nordsjælland man has the ball control and perception of a far more experienced footballer. The 2023 Ghanaian Footballer of the Year will produce a fine campaign of European play, whether he stays at Ajax, or finally gets to the London Stadium.
West Ham Transfer Window
As reigning Europa Conference League champions, West Ham have been attempting to add squad depth in preparation for the season ahead. The Hammers will compete in both the Premier League and the group stages of the Europa League to try and grow their trophy cabinet.

David Moyes recently added a centre-back to his team. Konstantinos Mavropanos is the newest defender at the London club. Two midfielders have also been making their way into the team, and Kudus, as an attacker, would be a wonderful conclusion to their summer signings.
