Leicester City Predicted Lineup vs Cardiff City in Championship Clash

How Leicester City Have Lined-up Recently

Enzo Maresca has lined up his men in a very similar fashion over the first three games of the season. Ricardo Pereira starting in a right-back position and floating into a midfield role when the team are in possession has given the Midlands team more offensive threat and creativity.
Placing an emphasis on an attacking style of play, midfielders have been encouraged to attack the opposition’s box and this has already proved fruitful this season. Both Kiernan Dewsbury- Hall and Wilfred Ndidi have shown greater attacking prowess. The new arrival of Cesare Casadei from Chelsea this week will add more quality to the Championship favourites’ promotion push.

Leicester City Recent Form and Tactics

The Midlands club are only one of two teams to have picked up maximum points so far in the championship this season. Having won a tense opener against Coventry City at home, they then went on to take all three points away at Huddersfield last weekend. The club has never registered four wins in a row to start a season so the team can create history with another win.

Although performances have not been too impressive, the Filbert Way faithful will be happy to have secured maximum points whilst the team are adapting to the style of play demanded by the new Italian manager. Squad players have been utilised with the depth available to Maresca evident. One or two positions within the team have yet to be cemented and new players still being targeted. Players such as Dewsbury-Hall and Ndidi have displayed new attacking traits which will surely benefit the team if they remain with the club.

Leicester City Injuries to Consider

Having missed last week’s win, goalkeeper Mads Hermansen is expected to return to the starting line-up after having recovered from a small niggle but the manager reported that this will be dependant upon the final training session before the Championship game. Potential new club captain Conor Coady is expected to be out for another six weeks after picking up a foot injury during preseason. Winger Kasey McAteer is still out with a foot injury and is not in consideration for seven to ten days.
