Alisson Becker ‘Tempted by This New Challenge’
According to a report from Footmercato, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is a target for Saudi team Al-Nassr. The Liverpool goalkeeper has already seen his ex-Reds team-mate Sadie Mane join the Saudi club, who also have Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo in their ranks. According to the report from Footmercato, the Brazilian goalkeeper is “tempted by this new challenge,” with Al-Nassr being very interested in the Liverpool goalkeeper after the disappointing performance of their current goalkeeper (Nawaf Al-Aqidi) after their 2-1 defeat to Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq.

After unexpectedly losing experienced midfielders Fabinho and Henderson, potentially losing their star goalkeeper would be a devastating blow in a transfer window that has already seen them miss out on Moises Caicedo and seemingly Romeo Lavia.

Alisson Liverpool Career Recapped
Alisson, who moved to Anfield for £67m in 2018, could join the Liverpool exodus, and move to the Saudi Pro League. The Brazilian, described as “special” by Jurgen Klopp, has played 232 times for the Red half of Merseyside, most memorably winning the Premier League and Champions League during his spell on Merseyside.

If Alisson were to depart Anfield, it would leave Klopp with Caoimhin Kelleher as his replacement – surely forcing the German manager into the transfer market.

The Saudi Pro League has been inundated with big named players this summer, including Neymar, who has completed his transfer to Al-Hilal for £77.6m. The Brazilian superstar will earn a reported £129.2 million a year. Al-Hilal also made a world record bid of £258 million for Kylian Mbappe on the back of his uncertain future at Paris Saint-Germain. Alisson would join Alex Telles and Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic if he were to join Al-Nassr.
