Bournemouth Move for Adams After Chelsea Transfer Collapses
After drawing their opening game of the Premier League season, Bournemouth have seemingly made a major move in this summer’s transfer window by triggering the release clause of USMNT midfielder Adams. According to the update from Romano, the Cherries are optimistic about completing the deal, as the player is reportedly keen on the move. Adams looked destined to move to Stamford Bridge until Chelsea abandoned the deal as they wanted to sign Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo.

Adams described as “the general” while on international duty with the US national team, looked certain to become Maurice Pochettino‘s latest signing after Chelsea triggered his release clause. The American midfielder hasn’t appeared for club or country and will be unavailable until after the international break in September following surgery on a hamstring injury.

Adams will be a welcome addition to the Bournemouth midfield bringing a tenacious edge to the Cherries’ engine room.
