A Disappointing Spell for Ndombele
Ndombele has been highly regarded since he burst onto the scene at a young age. Amidst interest from top European sides, Tottenham landed the midfielder in the summer of 2019 for a club-record fee of £55 million. He joined on a six-year deal.
The French international had a tough start to his Premier League career, plagued with recurring injuries. The talented midfielder spent spells away on loan at his old club Olympique Lyon and more recently at Napoli. The 26-year-old failed to impress in his time away and his valuation continued to drop.

The “Powerful” midfielder looks likely to finish his Spurs career with 91 appearances, scoring ten goals and providing nine assists. At 26 years of age, the former Amiens SC player still has time on his side to put his injury woes behind him and get his career back on track. A move away from the limelight to the Turkish league might help the Frenchman’s cause.
