Leicester City fans will not breathe easy until the transfer deadline day passes. Having lost major stars Maddison, Tielemans and Barnes over the summer, nervousness is evident. There could also be more incomings and outgoings before the window closes. Players brought into the squad over the summer have been greeted with positivity. The likes of Coady and Winks bring proven Premiership experience, with Mavididi, Hermansen and Doyle all having a point to prove.
Keeping The Faith
With the new manager in place, the fans will be asked to keep their faith as the players settle into the new demands from Maresca. Unfortunately, many have criticised the lack of a pre-season for the club. A pre-organised trip to Thailand and Singapore was seen as more of a PA exercise rather than anything of benefit to the team by many. Adding insult to injury, one of the two organised games on this trip against Spurs was cancelled due to monsoon rain which deemed the pitch unplayable.

The spine of the team is in place and expectations from fans are extremely high. An open training session organised during the week saw thousands in attendance. The Leicester public expects, with the season kicking off against East Midlands rivals Coventry.
