Transfer to Be ‘Sealed Soon’: Player Already in Paris
The Parc de Princes outfit are on the verge of making a major move in the transfer market as they look to land the French star Dembele.
The 26-year-old is set to enter the final year of his contract with the Spanish club, which expires in 2024, which has given a boost to Les Parisiens in their pursuit. He will sign a five-year deal with the French club running until June 2028. The Italian journalist also reported that the deal will be signed – in the coming days. The French international is reportedly already in the French capital to complete his medical.
“Private” Clause Activated
The transfer market expert revealed that the Ligue 1 giants activated a “private” clause at the beginning of the week. The clause is reported to be £43 million, which the French club have activated to acquire the skilful winger. It would be a bargain fee, considering the Frenchman’s performances over the last couple of seasons, which have led to many outlets labelling him as “World-class.”

The interesting detail revealed by the Italian is that the proceeds from the transfer will solely not go to the Catalan club. The La Liga champions will receive a major chunk of the transfer fee, and a part of it will go to the player and his agent, Moussa Sissoko.
Xavi Hernandez ‘Hurt’ by Dembele’s Decision to Leave
In an interview, Xavi expressed his displeasure towards the player’s decision to move to Paris. The Barcelona manager said, “It hurts me because we took care of him to make him happy here. But we can’t compete, he’s leaving.”
