Fabinho Expected to Join Al Ittihad Soon
The Reds have reportedly agreed a deal in principle to sell captain Jordan Henderson to Al Ettifaq in the summer and it appears that he will not be the only player to get approval for a move to the Saudi league.

Romano claims that Fabinho is expected to join the Saudi Pro League side soon as the two clubs work hard to finalize an agreement. The Brazilian has already agreed terms with the Gulf club, but the Merseyside club have not fully agreed on a deal yet.
Al Ettifaq reportedly made a £40 million offer to sign the 29-year-old and Liverpool are in contact with them to discuss the key final details of the offer before a deal can be fully agreed. But at this point, it appears that the Brazil international is bound to move to Saudi Arabia, even though he will not be joining the same team as his fellow teammate Henderson.
Liverpool’s Plans for Midfield Reshape
The Reds have already made major additions to their squad in the form of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai to improve their midfield line, but there could be more additions still to come. It has been reported that Jurgen Klopp is planning to sign at least another midfielder to improve his squad depth going forward.

They are reportedly interested in Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia as a possible replacement for the two departing midfielders. He could be roped in as a direct replacement for Fabinho, who was hailed as ‘outstanding’ by Klopp after starring in Liverpool’s win over Arsenal in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup in the 2021/22 campaign. The Brazilian midfielder has won all major trophies with the Merseyside club and made 219 appearances for them, but it appears that he might be nearing the end of his journey at Anfield.
