Manchester United Ownership Decision Now Expected ‘Imminently’

Manchester United Ownership Situation Has Dragged On for a Long Time; Glazers Finally on the Verge of Decision

It has been nine months since the ongoing Manchester United ownership situation began, and fans are getting tired of the Glazers’ indecision.

It appears now to have boiled down to a race between current OGC Nice owner Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim, a member of the Qatari royal family.

While Ratcliffe is only seeking a majority stake – something which worries minority shareholders – Sheikh Jassim is attempting to buy United outright. This would bring an outright end to the Glazers’ tumultuous stint at Old Trafford which has lasted 18 years.

Bloomberg have now revealed, though, that a decision on the saga is expected “imminently”.

The Glazers will choose either to sell to one of the interested parties or to keep ahold of the Manchester giants. The latter of the two options will, no doubt, fill fans with dread after the way the club have been managed under the American family’s ownership.

Transfer Window Still Going Strong Despite Manchester United Ownership Situation

Despite the uncertainty at the very top of the club, the Red Devils are still managing to conduct their transfer business in a more efficient manner than usual.

They have already secured Mason Mount from Chelsea, and it seems only a matter of time before Andre Onana is officially announced as their second summer signing.

Now, it appears that their attention has already swiftly shifted to signing a striker, with a bid for Danish forward Rasmus Hojlund being prepared.
