Fabrizio Romano Shares Exciting Manchester United Transfer Update

United Having a Successful Transfer Window Thus Far

Unlike most transfer windows of late, this summer appears to be going well from an Old Trafford perspective.

The Red Devils have already brought in Mason Mount, a player seemingly perfect for Erik ten Hag’s system.

Signing Mount will also allow Christian Eriksen to provide top-class depth at the Theatre of Dreams, and paves the way for some potential outgoings, the most likely of which being Fred.

And now, it appears they are set to make another addition to their squad, with Andre Onana on the verge of joining from Inter Milan.

How Manchester United Could Line Up Next Season

Last Word on Football has put together a prediction of how the Red Devils may line up next season, including a marquee new striker and two other additions.

What Romano Said

The transfer insider has given his latest understanding of the Andre Onana to Manchester United situation.

Romano said in a tweet on Tuesday morning: “Manchester United expect Andre Onana to travel to [the] UK by tonight – medical and contract signing between Wednesday and Thursday.”

“Plan to be confirmed later. More to Follow.

“Onana left [the] Inter training ground 30 mins ago after saying goodbye.”

It now appears that after the departure of David de Gea was finalised last week, Erik ten Hag has gotten his ideal replacement, with Onana both having already worked with the Dutch boss at Ajax and possessing many of the qualities required by a so-called modern goalkeeper.
