Henderson Given ‘Green Light’ From Klopp
The recent update from Romano has revealed that Henderson who reportedly earns £190k per week has decided to switch life on Merseyside for Saudi Arabia and has been given the blessing of Jurgen Klopp to leave. Romano says that Henderson has accepted Al Ettifaq’s proposal and that the contract is agreed between the player and the club.

A report has suggested Henderson will earn £700k per week in Saudi Arabia – almost quadrupling his current deal at Anfield.
The only issue now is for Liverpool to agree a fee with Al Ettifaq, with Romano stating that there is ‘no chance’ the player will leave the Reds on a free.
An earlier update mentioned that Liverpool have asked for £10 million and will ‘insist’ on this fee. Now that the player himself has agreed to the move it should just be a formality for the two clubs to agree on a price.

Henderson Leaves Behind a Legacy
The 33-year-old midfielder previously described as “exceptional” was always likely to feature less for Klopp’s side this season with the additions of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szobozslai.
Henderson joined the club for £18 million in 2011 and has gone on to achieve greatness. The midfielder replaced Gerrard as captain in 2015 and never looked back. He has lifted every domestic trophy and the Champions League whilst making 492 appearances for the Merseysiders.

Lifting the club’s first Premier League title will be considered his most prestigious achievement, though, ending the club’s 30-year wait for a league title in 2020 – something Gerrard could never quite achieve.
