Romano states that the player is already prepared to say yes to a move to Old Trafford as long as the two clubs are able to agree on a fee. The 27-year-old is still ‘very open’ to the prospect of reuniting with Erik ten Hag, who helped him impress for Ajax during their time together at the Dutch club.
It’s also added by Romano that Chelsea consider the possibility of signing the Inter goalkeeper as ‘too expensive’ and have backed out of the race. The Blues are now touted to be looking for a backup goalkeeper to Kepa Arrizabalaga. Onana is reported to be valued at around £40 Million to £50 Million by Inter after excelling in his debut season for them.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper is renowned for his shot-stopping ability as well as his impressive distribution style, as he also knows how to thrive under Ten Hag. He made 41 appearances for the Nerrazzurri last season, keeping 19 clean sheets – including eight in the Champions League.
