If the Price Is Right
It has been reported that the Englishman is keen on the move, but there is still a lot to do in terms of financial agreements. John Percy of the Telegraph notes that Spurs will offer an introductory package worth £40 million: well below the £60 million price tag set by the Foxes. Although the relegated team will surely reject the proposal, it should offer insight on where each club stands in the negotiations.

In addition, the Lilywhite’s main competition for the resilient right-footer appears to have other priorities. Newcastle are set to sign Sandro Tonali: effectively drawing them out of contention.
