‘Right Now’: Fabrizio Romano Issues Exciting Transfer Update as Spurs Close In on Postecoglou’s Next Signing

Ange Postecoglou - Tottenham Hotspur manager

Fabrizio Romano has issued another update on Tottenham Hotspur‘s summer transfer activity as the Lillywhites look to revolutionise their team under new manager Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham Hotspur Set to Secure Another Signing for Ange Postecoglou

Ange Postecoglou Needs to Make an Impact This Summer

Ange Postecoglou appears to be in the perfect place in his career for his move to Tottenham but needs to make an impact this summer if he is to make this opportunity stick.

The Greek Australian boss is fresh off an extremely successful two years at Celtic, winning five out of six possible domestic trophies during his time with the Scottish giants including a momentous treble achieved in his final game for them.

Still, the 57-year-old is not a household name among fans of the Premier League, and he doesn’t come with the same reputation as some of Tottenham’s previous managers who have seen success in their previous jobs. The two names that spring to mind are Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte, both of whom had extremely impressive records when they moved to North London, but both of whom failed to win any notable piece of silverware during their stay.

It is vital for Postecoglou’s success that he be backed in the summer transfer window, and the initial impression is that he is getting signings in the door quickly.

Postecoglou’s Next Signing Is in London ‘Right Now’

According to Fabrizio Romano, Postecoglou’s next signing Guglielmo Vicario is in London right now.

The Italian goalkeeper will complete his medical tests within the next few days before signing his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a deal that will be valid for five years.

After already permanently signing Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus, Spurs should now make Postecoglou’s second signing in charge official at some point this week.
