Red Devils Submit Third Offer for Mason Mount
Manchester United have been heavily linked with signing England international Mason Mount this summer from Premier League rivals Chelsea. United have had two bids rejected so far this summer but have now returned with a third bid, according to the update from Law. The third offer from United is thought to be worth £50 million plus £5 million in add-ons for the Chelsea star. The update mentions that the third offer, combined with the lack of new contract talks between Mount and Chelsea, will surely provide a “temptation to find an agreement.”

Fabrizio Romano has also reported on the latest development and confirmed Manchester United’s increased offer includes better payment terms than the two previous bids. The update from Romano confirms that the England star wants the United move, indicating there’s no chance of a new deal at Chelsea, with all parties “very confident to get it done.”

Despite having a disappointing 2022/23 campaign, Mount still has a lot to offer and has previously been described as “Fantastic.” He is brilliant at breaking lines with his incisive passing. During his time with Chelsea, Mount has become renowned for picking up pockets of space in the opposition’s final third, which causes opposition players plenty of problems. The latest update from Romano confirms that Mount wants to move to Old Trafford.
