According to football insider Fabrizio Romano, Juventus will fight until the very end to keep out-of-contract midfielder Adrien Rabiot. But that may prove difficult with considerable interest being shown in the French midfielder from the Premier League.

Juventus are still trying to keep Adrien Rabiot as new deal has been discussed with the French midfielder. Not easy to compete with Premier League proposals to join as free agent but Juve will insist until the end. 🇫🇷

Premier League Interest
The Italian giants allowed the contract of Rabiot to run down, and while they have opened discussions on a new deal with his agent, it may be too little too late. Premier League clubs are already competing for his signature. One report indicates Newcastle United have offered €5 million per season to tempt the midfielder to St. James Park.

Juventus will be able to compete financially with some of the offers from the Premier League. Reports indicate that they’re ready to offer a €7 million per season one-year deal. But they can’t offer him one absolutely vital thing, Champions League football.
The Red Devils have been linked with the dynamic midfielder for over a year now. A report in May indicated that they saw the midfielder as a priority addition, and they’re able to offer him Champions League football to boot. Newcastle can do the same, with the Tyneside club having secured their place in Europe’s top competition.
Juventus Remain Interested
The French international is coming off a good season for Juventus having found the net 11 times across all competitions. Although he can be deployed as a defensive midfielder, he does his best work as a box-to-box player. You wouldn’t say he was the best finisher in the league, but he’s confident in the air, strong on the ball and confident in possession.

Rabiot’s contract doesn’t expire until June 30. This gives his current club just over a week to convince the midfielder to stay in Turin. If that fails, it’s likely he’ll find a new home sooner rather than later.
