Tottenham Hotspur now fully expect to sign the “sensational” Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus, according to reliable Spurs journalist Alasdair Gold. The London Club are also reported by Dan Kilpatrick to have reached an agreement on a long-term contract with the 23-year-old ahead of making his move to North London permanent.

Uncertainty Around Kulusevski’s Future Now Quashed
Having not qualified for next season’s Champions League, Spurs failed to trigger the £30 million mandatory buy option in Kulusevski’s loan deal.
While with Antonio Conte as manager and Fabio Paratici as director of football, it was seen as a given that the Swede would be signed on a permanent deal by Tottenham, there is now much uncertainty surrounding the club ahead of next season. Caretaker manager Ryan Mason recently said that he was unsure whether Kulusevski would, in fact, become a permanent Tottenham player, while the £110k-a-week attacker himself recently told Standard Sport that he did not know where his future lay, although he did admit that he loves the club.
Now, though, Gold and Kilpatrick both concur that Kulusevski will be staying in the English capital for the foreseeable future.

A Poor Season for Spurs
Having finished eighth in the Premier League table for the 2022/23 campaign, Tottenham will not be playing in Europe next season for the first time in almost 15 years.
This comes after a fairly disastrous campaign filled with extremely inconsistent performances and poor results to accompany them.
The main, and arguably only, shining light of the last nine months for Tottenham has been the remarkable quality once again displayed by talisman Harry Kane. The Englishman scored 30 goals in the Premier League alone, beaten to the Golden Boot only by Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, but with the Kane transfer saga now starting to develop, it remains to be seen whether he will stay put this summer.
