According to reliable Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto, Liverpool are set to lose out on Jude Bellingham who will join Real Madrid. The young Englishman is expected to be announced by the Spanish giants next week after a lengthy transfer saga that saw Liverpool involved right until the end.

A Lengthy Transfer Saga Resulting in Disappointment for English Clubs
There have been rumours surrounding Bellingham’s future circulating for some time, with Liverpool right at the centre of them.
The Reds are looking for a new midfielder this summer with James Milner reportedly heading to Brighton & Hove Albion and Jordan Henderson not getting any younger, and Bellingham would have perfectly filled that gap.
In April it was reported that the young Englishman wanted Liverpool, giving fans hope after a rollercoaster ride of a transfer saga, but it now looks virtually certain that he’ll be plying his trade in Madrid next year.

Liverpool weren’t the only English side to hold an interest in Bellingham either. Both Manchester United and Manchester City were involved in the transfer race, the Red Devils having been down this road before when they showed Bellingham around their training ground in a bid to sign him in 2020. However, he opted to join Borussia Dortmund three years ago, and now it seems he has chosen Real Madrid.
While this situation has ended in disappointment for the trio of English sides, it has been a triumph for Real Madrid. The Spanish giants now have three world-class young midfielders in Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Jude Bellingham, seeing them set for at least the next decade if all three stay at the Santiago Bernabéu.
