According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, via CaughtOffside, and the Daily Mail, Chelsea are set for a big summer spend with four names already being targeted.
Romano has linked the club with midfielders Romeo Lavia of Southampton and Borussia Monchengladbach man Manu Kone. The duo would bring fresh legs to the ageing midfield. Meanwhile, the Maila are linking the Blues with Brentford’s Ivan Toney and David Raya.
Chelsea Prepare for “Busy Summer”
Four Targets
The report from the Daily Mail mentions that “Chelsea are preparing for yet another busy summer in the transfer market”. Between the two reports today, the team have already been linked with four players who could cost as much as £170 Million.

Kone reportedly has a price tag of £26 million, the London side have reportedly already offered £50 million for Lavia, Toney was reportedly quoted at £40 million and goalkeeper Raya will cost “at least £40 million if not more” per manager Thomas Frank.
Changes Needed
Todd Boehly and his consortium have already plunged a lot of money into the club. They have made big money moves for players like Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk but it hasn’t been enough to prevent an almost historically bad campaign at Stamford Bridge. With a new manager set to come in the summer, they will seemingly be provided with new players to improve the squad.
Kepa Arrizabalaga has not been at his best despite overtaking Edouard Mendy as the first-choice goalkeeper. This is where Brentford’s shot-stopper could come into the equation as he has been really good all year.
In addition, goalscoring has been a major issue for the team all year which could prompt a big money move for the Bees’ top marksman who has 19 Premier League goals so far this season.
