Chelsea Predicted Lineup vs Aston Villa in Premier League Clash
How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently
Kai Havertz and Joao Felix have led the line with a rotating cast for a third member due to injuries. Mykhailo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic have all been tasked with being the third man in recent weeks. The midfield duo of Enzo Fernandez and Mateo Kovacic seem unshakeable with Ben Chilwell and Reece James the first-choice wing-backs.

The defensive setup is also dealing with injuries as first-choice defenders Thiago Silva and Wesley Fofana have been absent leading to Marc Cucuerella, Benoit Badiashile and Kalidou Koulibaly operating as the back three. Kepa Arrizabalaga remains unchallenged in goals.
Chelsea Recent Form and Tactics
Since returning to the 3-4-3 formation things have turned around for the Blues. They are currently on a run of four games without a defeat, three of which ended in victory. Things have been very boom or bust for Potter during his time at the club but things appear to be booming right now.
Chelsea Absences to Consider
The injured list is once again piling up for Chelsea. Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta, Mason Mount, Fofana, and Pulisic are either going to miss the game or aren’t fit enough to start. Kai Havertz has been dealing with illness and has recovered but may not be at 100% to face Aston Villa.
On a more positive note, James is fit after pulling out of the England squad and N’Golo Kante appears to be gearing up for a return of some sort. Long-term absentees Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Edouard Mendy, and Armando Broja remain sidelined.
