With a number of absences blighting preparations for this one, Last Word on Football brings you this Chelsea predicted lineup as they attempt to win three in a row when they take on Leicester City in Premier League action.
Chelsea Predicted Lineup vs Leicester City on March 11
How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently
With the return of the 3-4-3 we have seen the starting eleven shift slightly but the regular names on the teamsheet seem to be Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Enzo Fernandez, Joao Felix, and Kai Havertz. Around those it has depended on availability with Kalidou Koulibaly returning in the absence of Thiago Silva and Marc Cucurella/Benoit Badiashile sharing the third centre-back spot.

Fernandez’s midfield partner has also changed based on who is available with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Matoe Kovaviv both starting beside him recently. The front three has been fairly fluid with Raheem Sterling usually the preferred option as the third man.
Chelsea Recent Form and Tactics
As mentioned previously, the 3-4-3 formation has made its return after an unsuccessful experimentation with the 4-2-3-1 setup. This has yielded two consecutive wins for the Blues and could be their go-to set up from here on out if results continue to improve.
Chelsea Absences to Consider
As has been the case for most of the season Graham Potte has some selection headaches for this one. During his pre-match press conference the manager confirmed that key players Raheem Sterling, Reece James, and Mason Mount will be unavailable for the match.

It was also confirmed that N’Golo Kante isn’t ready yet to play any part, although Everton was mentioned as a possible deadline for his return, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will also play no part. Edouard Mendy and Armando Broja remain sidelined for the foreseeable future.
