Who Is Kendry Paez?
A product of the Ecuador club Independiente del Valle’s youth academy, the 15-year-old midfielder is reportedly earning a lot of interest from some of Europe’s best clubs. Romano even terms him a ‘super young talent’ and that it will also take him some time to be able to play in Europe because of his age.

Paez can play as a centre-midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder, thriving in the former role. He’s made five appearances for Ecuador’s U15 national team in his career and had three goal contributions, scoring one goal and registering two assists. Chelsea also signed young Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos last month, but it appears they’re looking for more special South American talents to improve their squad for the long term.
