Callum Hudson-Odoi
The English youth has been in and around the first team for some time now. He is one of the few academy graduates to have avoided the “loan army” so far, but his streak ends now. He has made 126 appearances as a Blue without really solidifying a spot in the squad; maybe a loan away will unlock his full potential.

Ethan Ampadu
While his English counterpart has avoided the loan system so far, the Welsh defender has not had such luck. He has had three different loan spells since joining from Exeter City in 2017. His first was an unsuccessful spell in Germany with RB Leipzig but he followed that up with a stellar loan stint with Sheffield United in the Premier League.
