Manchester United have made a “crazy” salary proposal to “dream signing” Casemiro to entice him to Old Trafford. Fabrizio Romano has said that a man on the Manchester United board was in the Spanish Capital today to negotiate a deal for the “classy” Brazilian.

The Details of the Deal
Relevo announced on Wednesday that the Red Devils are ready to double the midfielder’s Real Madrid wages. They also gave United fans hope, saying the Brazilian has not been impressed with some of the Madrid side’s decisions and could be enticed away from the Bernabeu.
The reported transfer fee for the 3o-year-old is around £67.5 million. Casemiro joined Real Madrid from Sao Paulo for £5.4 million in 2013 and also completed a one-year loan deal at Porto during the 2014/15 season.

Why Manchester United Need this Deal to Happen
The first reason is an obvious one – he is an exceptional footballer. Casemiro has been an underrated name in Los Blancos’ recent success and dominance in Europe, having five Champions League titles to his name, along with three la Liga titles, three Club World Cup titles and one Spanish Cup.
The defensive midfielder is brilliant at his role within the Real Madrid side, winning the ball back and starting attacks with his great ability to read the game and provide protection to the back four. United have been crying out for a proper defensive midfielder for a long time, and Casemiro can be described as one of the world’s best in that position, alongside Fabinho and Rodri.

Another reason United need this deal to happen, and perhaps why they are offering such a lucrative package, is the message it sends after such a poor start to the season. The Red Devils have had an awful first two matches under new manager Erik ten Hag and need to complete more transfers if they’re going to have a chance of reaching the top four this year. United would be putting out a statement by signing a world-class midfielder in Casemiro.
