The other players named by Romano as potential targets following a “collapse of negotiations” for Marko Arnautovic include Alvaro Morata, Mauro Icardi, Raul de Tomas, and the aforementioned David about whom Romano states: “I think he’s perfect for Man United”

Who is Jonathan David?
The 22-year-old Canadian international is a proven goalscorer at all levels. For his country, he has grabbed 21 goals in 32 caps while impressing at club level, first for Gent in Belgium and now for Lille in France.

It was his second season with Gent that caught the eyes of his current side as he netted 23 times in 40 games. Since his move to Ligue 1 he has been a consistent scorer with 13 and then 19 goals in his first and second campaigns respectively.
