Tottenham Hotspur are set to begin their Premier League campaign against Southampton on Saturday, August 6. The Lilywhites are gunning for a bright campaign after finishing fourth last season and bolstering their squad with a number of quality signings in the summer.

How Tottenham Hotspur Have Lined-Up Recently
Spurs endured a gruelling pre-season tour in South Korea, undergoing some intense sessions that forced players like Son Heung-min and Harry Kane to collapse onto the ground. Antonio Conte’s men played four pre-season friendly games in preparation for the new season, winning two, losing one and playing out a draw.
But probably the clearest indication of what their regular side will look like in the Premier League was their final pre-season game against Roma, which they lost. The Lilywhites played with a 3-4-3 formation, with new signings Yves Bissouma and Ivan Perisic both featuring.

The attacking trio included Dejan Kulusevki, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane – indicating that this will probably be the attacking line to start the season as well.
Conte will continue with his 3-4-3 formation, having bolstered his backline with the signings of Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence, and making Cristian Romero’s deal permanent as well. A number of new acquisitions should feature in the Tottenham Hotspur starting lineup against the Saints, but it remains to be seen exactly how many debuts are handed.
Tottenham Hotspur Injuries to Consider
Oliver Skipp is definitely ruled out for the game against Southampton, as indicated by Conte in his pre-match press conference. Bissouma suffered an injury in the game against Roma and might not be ready to start, while Conte also added that Perisic and Matt Doherty are yet to achieve 100% fitness because of their injury issues before the start of the season.
