Bale Heads to LA to Light up the MLS

Bale has signed a deal that runs from this summer’s window until next summer which covers half of the MLS season. The Welsh wizard has been short of action in Madrid and needs valuable minutes as he looks to gain match sharpness ahead of the World Cup in Qatar this November.

Despite Bale being on the periphery for several seasons in Madrid, his loan spell back at Tottenham Hotspur last season showed he still retains plenty of ability, scoring an impressive 11 goals in 20 appearances, proving he still knows where the back of the net is. He has proven over the years, that he can be devastating on his day and can change a game in a second.

At 32 years old, having been on the fringes in Madrid for several years, seemingly happy picking up his monstrous wages, his desire has been called into question by many. Living in Los Angeles will be different for Bale as he will be worshipped, which he wasn’t for large parts of his time in Madrid.

He will be guaranteed football before Qatar in a team challenging for honours, and with the World Cup on the horizon, the Welsh legend will be focused on producing his best in preparation for November. On the pitch in LA, he will likely be given a free role like he is for Wales, which will be perfect preparation for him to showcase his ability on the biggest stage of all.
