MK Dons are close to signing young midfielder Dawson Devoy from League of Ireland side Bohemians, reports Johnny Ward of RTE.
The 20-year-old is said to be lined up as a potential replacement for the outgoing Matt O’Riley, who is set to complete a £1.5 million move to Celtic later today.

Midfield Reinforcement
MK Dons have had a difficult week in terms of losing players, with four loan players recalled by their parent clubs as well as several other departures.
Midfielder Ethan Robson was recalled by Blackpool owing to injuries, and with O’Riley set for a permanent departure to Celtic, the Dons suddenly look light in midfield.
They have been swift in their acquisitions though, and have already signed Republic of Ireland U21 captain Conor Coventry on loan from West Ham United for the rest of the season.
A move for Devoy would see the pair link up together again, with the youngster having already been capped at youth level by Ireland.
The Dons also have another Irish youngster in their squad with Troy Parrott currently loan in from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

A Promising Talent
Devoy is seen as one of the rising stars in the League of Ireland and has amassed plenty of experience already despite being just 20-years-old.
He made 33 appearances in the Premier Division last season, scoring twice and assisting four.
He also managed one assist in six games in the Europa Conference League qualifiers and made a brief appearance in 2020/21 Europa League qualifying.
