Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino looks like he is finally returning to management. RMCsport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi is reporting that the Argentine is close to taking over at Paris Saint-Germain after they parted company with Thomas Tuchel this morning. Pochettino has been out of the game after being sacked by Spurs over a year ago but is now set to return to the side he represented 95 times as a player.
Mauricio Pochettino Likely to Replace Thomas Tuchel at Paris Saint-Germain
Pochettino Returns?
When his five-year spell at Spurs came to an end last year, with Spurs struggling in 14th place in the Premier League, nobody expected Pochettino to be out of the game for long.
He has been linked with numerous high-profile jobs around Europe, including replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United and taking over at Barcelona.

United have undergone a dramatic turnaround with Solskjaer, though, and the Barcelona role has since been filled by former Everton boss Ronald Koeman.
It didn’t leave many high-profile vacancies for Pochettino to consider, but PSG’s decision to part ways with Tuchel is the perfect opportunity for the Argentine to take.
They are currently third in Ligue 1 but are only a point behind both Lille and Lyon, who are joint on 36 points at the top.
There is nothing confirmed yet, though. Fabrizio Romano reports that Pochettino’s lawyers have been contacted regarding the position and that he is leading the race. However, Thiago Motta is also under consideration by the club.
