Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu has completed a move to Serie A side Udinese, despite interest from elsewhere across Europe.
The 26-year-old has signed a season-long loan deal with the Italian club, who are owned by the same family as Championship outfit Watford.

Deulofeu Seals Serie A Switch
Deulofeu joins fellow Watford players Roberto Pereyra and Ignacio Pussetto at I Bianconeri.
Udinese sit 19th in Serie A following a run of three straight defeats, but the arrival of Deulofeu should help the club climb the table.
Positive Time in England
Deulofeu has had an up and down career in England since leaving Barcelona back in 2015. Having spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Everton, the Spaniard joined the Toffees on a permanent basis in 2015 following a loan spell at Sevilla.
He spent two more seasons at Goodison Park before spending a season on loan at AC Milan. Deulofeu returned to Barcelona before spending time on loan at Watford, where he made the switch permanent.
During his time with the Hornets, he made 70 appearances and became the club’s first player to score a hat-trick in a 5-1 win over Cardiff City, but was part of the side that suffered relegation from the Premier League. During his time at Vicarage Road, the Spaniard scored 17 times and provided 11 assists.
He will also be remembered for sparking the comeback against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup semi-final with a sensational chipped goal.
He had injury-hit spells with both clubs in England and will be looking to put those setbacks behind him and start afresh in Italy.
In other departure news for Watford, Adalberto Peñaranda and Jerome Sinclair have both joined Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia on loan for the season.
