Fulham are said to be in talks with Manchester City to sign defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a permanent deal according to Peter Rutzler of The Athletic.
The London side have had a bad start to their return to the top flight, conceding 11 goals in their opening four games and losing all four so far.
Fulham's move for Adarabioyo is a permanent one, as per @SamLee . Unsure of fees as yet but looking into it. A player who was unlikely to get a chance at City but still a quality defender. Poised to join Timo Baumgartl and Joachim Andersen as #FFC arrivals. Potentially RLC too…

Tosin Adarabioyo Set to Join Fulham From Manchester City
Defensive Reinforcements
City defender Adarabioyo, who has spent time on loan at Blackburn Rovers, is poised to join Timo Baumgartl, who is set to sign from PSV on loan with an option to buy, and Danish international Joachim Andersen from Lyon.
Busy Fulham
The Cottagers are set for a good deadline day as they also close in on Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan.
Adarbioyo spent last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers and has rejected a new deal with his boyhood club, paving the way for a move to the capital.
There has been interest from several clubs for the English international with Everton, Brighton and West Ham all said to be taking a look at the defender.
With the arrival of both Nathan Ake and Ruben Dias this summer, it looks time for the 23-year-old to seek pastures new.
After last week’s 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa, Scott Parker and Sporting Director Tony Khan were keen to see some new faces in the heart of the defence.
“I’m sorry we haven’t yet as 2 (players) got COVID-19 and we lost a free plus had another issue with a fourth centre-back. I promise players in and better efforts from this squad,” he tweeted.
Transfer Clauses
The full details for the transfer of the 23-year old are yet to be seen, with both options available for both clubs, but it’s most likely Manchester City will be looking for a transfer with a buy-back option, especially with Eric Garcia refusing to renew his contract and looking to move to Barcelona.
