A Fan Favorite

Dominic ball joined QPR from Rotherham United in July of 2019. Since then, he has been a regular in the squad and has become a favorite amongst the fans.

While only 25 years old, Ball has over 150 professional games under his belt and brings a lot of experience to the squad. In an interview on QPR’s official website, he expressed his excitement for his new contract.

“I am absolutely buzzing. I came in here last year, had a really good season, and this is where I want to be.

“The style of football, the staff, the players, it all suits me and I enjoy going out on the pitch as a QPR player which is really important.”

The defensive-midfield player likes hard work, and QPR is the perfect challenge for him.

“I have always liked being the underdog and having to prove a point,” he explained. “I have had to do that throughout my career and it motivates me.”

First Team Regular

Last season, Dom Ball appeared 31 times for the club in the Championship. He started in 30 of those matches as QPR finished 13th. While he is defensive-minded, Ball added one goal and two assists to his name in 2019/20 and wants to improve on that.

The Rangers started their 2020/21 campaign with a 3-2 defeat to Plymouth Argyle in the EFL Cup, where Ball captained the side for 77 minutes. They then went on to beat Nottingham Forrest in the Championship.

They now turn their attention to their next league match, an away trip to Coventry City on Friday.
