Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo is close to completing a loan move to Cardiff City, according to James Pearce of The Athletic.

Another Loan Spell
Cardiff will be the 23-year-old’s fifth loan away from Liverpool.
Ojo’s most recent spell came with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard at Rangers. He made 33 appearances during a relatively successful season-long loan at Ibrox last season, scoring five goals.
However, the majority of those 33 appearances came before Christmas. While the 23-year-old did show flashes of brilliance, a series of poor performances soon saw him displaced.
His first move away from Anfield came with fellow Lancashire side Wigan Athletic. He joined the Latics on a six-month spell, but failed to score as they were relegated from the Championship.
The following two seasons saw him remain in the Championship with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham retrospectively. His move with Fulham was the more successful of the two; he scored four goals in 24 appearances.
Ojo does have a handful of Liverpool first-team appearances under his belt. The majority of his 13 appearances came in the 2015/16 season, but he failed to make a regular impact.
Should Sheyi Ojo Leave Liverpool Permanently?
Cardiff are getting a player with huge potential in Sheyi Ojo. However, the 23-year-old is unlikely to ever make it Anfield.
Several loan spells have seen him left well below the periphery of Liverpool’s first-team squad. Youngsters Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliot, four and six years Ojo’s junior, are more likely to be granted opportunities in Jurgen Klopp’s squad than Ojo.
As a result, a move to the Cardiff City Stadium maybe the midfielder’s last audition for a permanent move away from Anfield.
Neil Harris is in need of reinforcements on the wing. Jordi Osei-Tutu, a right-back who is also on loan with the Bluebirds, started their 3-0 defeat to Northampton Town at right wing.
