Blackpool’s busy transfer window continued with the club confirming the signing of attacking midfielder Beryly Lubala.
Lubala joins from Crawley Town for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-year deal at Bloomfield Road.
The talented midfielder arrives as Blackpool’s ninth summer signing. He could make his Blackpool debut in the Leasing.com trophy game with Barrow.

Lubala Arrives From Crawley Town
The 22-year-old began his career with Birmingham City, developing in their academy. He made a handful of appearances for the Championship side before joining Crawley in 2019.
Lubala sparkled in League Two before the curtailment of the season. His first full season in the Football League, scoring 13 times in 41 games for the Red Devils. Lubala’s creative play and quality on the ball made him one of League Two’s standout players.
However, the talented attacker is now tasked with stepping up to League One. He will join a Blackpool side ready to compete for promotion under Neil Critchley. The Tangerines mean business this summer, with Lubala taking their signings up to nine.
His versatility could be crucial for Blackpool when the new season kicks off. Lubala can operate out wide or in the middle of the park. He can also play in any of the forward positions even playing the number nine role at times for Crawley.
Lubala Looking Forward to Joining Blackpool
Speaking to the Blackpool website about his move, Lubala said: “It feels great to have signed and I can’t wait to get started.”
“The passionate support that this Club has was one of the key reasons I joined. There seems to be a real buzz around here at the moment and that was a big factor in my decision.”
