Reading have completed the signing of Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old rejoins the Royals following two loan spells with the club.

Ejaria joins the Championship club for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £3.5 million.
He signs a four-year deal with the Royals having already been on loan at the club for the past 18 months.
Ejaria Joins Reading After Two Successful Loan Spells
The midfielder was expected to sign for the Berkshire side following the conclusion of his loan at the end of last season.
Issues with Reading’s finances caused the move to stall, however, the player has been training with Mark Bowen‘s side throughout pre-season.
He joins having already made 55 appearances for Reading;
,scoring four goals and providing seven assists in that time.
Liverpool Midfielder Joins Reading After Six Years on Merseyside
Ejaria leaves Liverpool after six years at Melwood and four loan spells. The midfielder joined from Arsenal in the summer of 2014.
He went on to spend half a season with League One side Sunderland before a year with Steven Gerrard‘s Rangers side; he featured 28 times for the Scottish giants.
However, the ex-England youth international made just eight appearances during his time with the Reds – all coming during the 2016/17 season.
He started five times in cup competitions but only played six minutes of Premier League football for the Merseyside club.
He featured several times for England’s U20 side and made one appearance for Aidy Boothroyd’s U21 side, playing the full 90 minutes of a friendly with Romania back in 2018.
Speaking about his return to the club, manager Mark Bowen said: “Naturally, everybody at the club is delighted to have got this transfer over the line and it is a deal our owner, Mr Dai, was very keen to see completed as soon as was possible. Ovie has shown everyone his exceptional quality in the time he has spent here on loan and I’m sure all our supporters are excited to see him continue to impress as a Royal during the course of the next four years.”
