Lincoln City have continued to strengthen in defence, confirming the arrival of Adam Jackson.
The central defender’s arrival follows the confirmation on TJ Eyoma’s return to the LNER Stadium. The Tottenham youngster has joined on a season-long loan.

Vital Addition in Defence
The 26-year-old’s arrival is a much-needed addition at the heart of defence.
Imps boss Michael Appleton currently has just two outright centre-back’s in his squad in Cian Bolger and Lewis Montsma. As a result, Appleton has been quick to add at least one more central defender to his squad.
Jackson, unlike fellow summer signing Montsma, does have experience in the EFL. He began his career with Middlesbrough, and enjoyed loan spells with Coventry City and Hartlepool United in the EFL.
The 26-year-old then made the step up to the Championship, joining Barnsley in the summer of 2016.
He made 38 appearances for the Tykes, before joining Scottish club Hibernian last summer, from whom he joins the Imps from.
Delighted to Join the Club
Speaking about his move to the official Lincoln City website, Jackson said: “I’m buzzing to be here, it’s been on the cards for the last couple of weeks and I’m happy for it to finally get over the line.
“I’d like to think I am honest, reliable and hard-working and I’ll give 100% every time I wear the shirt. I can also get the ball down and play in the style that we are looking to implement this season.”
Manager Michael Appleton expressed his delight about adding an experienced defender to his squad, saying: “Adam brings great experience to this group and I’m delighted to sign him. He is comfortable on the left and right at centre half and is a real asset in both boxes. I’m really looking forward to working with him.”
