Swindon Town pair Ellis Iandolo and Zeki Fryers have signed two-year contract extensions at the club. Iandolo, the Robins’ longest-serving player, has been with the club since 2015, while Fryers helped Swindon to the League Two title in his first campaign with the club.

Iandolo played his part in helping Swindon return to League One in the first half of the season, playing 17 games before his campaign was cut short by injury.
Despite playing in numerous different positions, he has proved to be most effective at left-back, the same position as Fryers.
Getting both pinned down early on sets Swindon on their way to building a squad capable of, at the very least, staying in League One.
On signing his new deal, Iandolo told the club website: “I’m delighted to sign and get everything done. I can’t wait to see what the season brings. It’s been five years at the club now – I’ve seen a lot of ups and down but the club is 100% moving in the right direction.”

After a difficult time early on in his career, playing at big clubs such as Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, Fryers finally seems settled having arrived at Swindon just last year.
He scored one goal in 22 League Two appearances to help his side secure the title and proved to be an effective acquisition.
Fryers has League One experience, garnered from the second of his two years with Barnsley under Daniel Stendel, and that will be key to helping Swindon achieve their goals in the 2020/21 season.
