The box-to-box midfielder joined Rovers at the start of the season and scored four times from 40 appearances in all competitions.
The Gambian had only scored five goals in his career before his move from Ebbsfleet United, so his presence in the middle of the park and new-found goal threat will be a boost ahead of next season.
The Green Army ended the season tenth in League Two, nine points off the playoff spots, and will look to push further next season.
What Was Said
Speaking to the clubs’ official website, Ebou said: “I’m flattered to get the contract extension done so early. I just can’t wait to get up and running again soon, and improve on last season”.
Director of Football at Forest Green Rovers, Richard Hughes, added: “We knew we wanted to get this contract extension done early.
“Ebou is a great lad and a popular figure among the playing staff and fans. We’re pleased fans get at least two more years of Ebou, and his new shirt number.”
Ebou Adams Career So Far
Adams started his career at Dartford, where he made 27 appearances over three seasons. He did spend time on loan at Walton Casuals, where he scored twice from 26 outings.
On February 1, 2016, the midfielder joined Norwich City for an undisclosed fee. The transfer fee, however, became Dartford’s record sale. He made his youth team debut in a 7-0 defeat against Manchester United.
Loans at Braintree Town, Shrewsbury Town and Leyton Orient followed before he joined Ebbsfleet, where he spent just one season.
