Serie A side Napoli are the favourites to sign Lille striker Victor Osimhen, according to RMC Sport reporter Mohamed Bouhafsi. The Nigerian forward has scored 13 goals in his debut season in Ligue 1 having signed from Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg last summer. However, a change in agent from Osimhen has seen two clubs in England come back into the race for the 21-year-old.
Napoli Favourites to Land Victor Osimhen But Two English Clubs are Still in Race

Going to Napoli Seemed to Be a Done Deal
The deal for Osimhen to join Napoli looked to be done. Even now, it looks like the most likely outcome and he is likely to go and compete with Jose Callejon, Fabian Ruiz and Fernando Llorente for a starting berth.
However, Osimhen is reported to have changed agents a few weeks ago, and that has opened the door for two English clubs to join the race.
Tottenham Hotspur are one of the interested parties, and the other is an unnamed club. Both are looking to spoil the party for Napoli and bring in the highly-rated forward.
2 clubs anglais dont #Tottenham et un autre dont le nom n’a pas filtré essayent de se glisser dans cette incertitude. Mais #Naples a pris beaucoup d’avance. #RMCsport

It’s not clear whether, in Spurs’ case, Osimhen would be coming in as a back-up for Harry Kane or as a replacement. While there is nothing linking Kane with a move away yet, Spurs’ trophy drought and continued poor end to the season might have the England international thinking about leaving.
If he does, then Osimhen will be an able replacement, but he’ll be just as able as a back-up if Kane stays. Regardless, it’s still Napoli in the driving seat, but Spurs and this other unnamed club have certainly given Osimhen to think about.
