Charlton Athletic travel to play-off chasing Cardiff City in what will be an important game at both ends of the table on Tuesday evening. The Addicks are one of several sides involved in a relegation battle, while the Bluebirds are hoping to maintain their play-off spot.

Recent Form
Both clubs have started in emphatic fashion following enforced three-month hiatus.
Cardiff returned with a 2-0 win over title-contenders Leeds United at home, thanks to goals from Junior Hoilett and Robert Glatzel.
The Bluebirds then crept into the play-offs at the weekend following a 3-1 over Preston North End.
Lee Bowyer’s Charlton are also in a similar vain of form, however. Following a 1-0 away to relegation rivals Hull City, the Addicks then beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0 at The Valley.
However, the south London club are still only three points above the drop. As a result, there is still plenty to play for at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Head to Head Record
There has been little to separate the two sides in recent years.
The two sides drew 2-2 at The Valley earlier this season, in what Neill Harris’ first game in charge of the Bluebirds.
Cardiff last defeated Charlton in 2015, where goals from Joe Mason and Sean Morrison sealed the win for the Bluebirds.
Changes Expected?
There are likely to be changes to the two sides on Tuesday. Both Cardiff and Charlton have named unchanged teams in back-to-back games since the restart.
As a result of their retrospective league positions and points to play for, neither Bowyer or Harris will be wanting to risk further injuries to their squads.
Prediction
Cardiff have looked impressive since the return of Championship, converting their chances and being clinical in attack.
However, Charlton will prove a tough test for the Bluebirds. The Addicks taking six points from their last two games will give them a major confidence boost.
